This 583 litre fridge cabinet from Gram is GN compatible and accepts full depth 2/1GN containers. Gram refrigerated catering equipment is increasingly the popular choice of catering professionals. This Gram Compact range K610 fridge cabinet, for example, consumes as little energy as 0.9kWh per day.

This unit has an overall capacity of 583 litres over 4 shelves; the usable capacity is 513 litres. The external dimensions of the unit are 2000mm (h) x 695mm (w) x 868mm (d) with 4 shelf sizes of 530mm x 650mm. The cabinet itself is spacious and accepts 2/1GN dishes; it takes up a surprisingly small amount of kitchen space – just 70cm x 87cm. Compact 610 cabinets have easy access to the replaceable dirt and grease filters, and the compressor and refrigeration system are housed in the unique Gram plug-in unit – it is easy to service.

 

The fridge is fitted with robust 125mm castors. The single door is reversible right hand hinged and equipped with a lock. The gross weight of the cabinet is 110 kilos. The unit has a stainless exterior and the interior has a grey ABS lining, with matching grey shelves. This durable one piece ABS inner lining has rounded corners for easy cleaning. Also, the door gasket is easily removable for cleaning. The power rating is 241W and a 13A plug and supply cord are fitted. The cabinet operates at a sound level of 44.2dB(A).

The environmentally friendly refrigerant R600a is used in the refrigeration system; it has a global warming potential (GWP) of just 3. In comparison, the commonly used R134a refrigerant has a GWP value of 1300. This highly advanced HFC free commercial appliance has 50mm insulation, a powerful cooling system and unique air distribution for exceptional temperature stability. These features all contribute to the fridge’s extremely low energy consumption, which means lower running costs and a reduced carbon footprint.

 

The temperature range is 2°C to 12°C with an easy to read digital temperature display. A uniform and precise temperature is maintained throughout the cabinet in maximum ambient up to 35°C. The automatic defrost is a convenient and hygienic feature, essential for today’s busy commercial kitchens – defrost water is collected and re-evaporated from a water tray at the rear of the cabinet. The functional design of the appliance is exemplified by the full height integrated door handle. This cabinet is also available in a white finish with a white ABS interior and white shelving.
